Basketball Practice Schedules
Starting on November 7th all JH Boys Basketball Practice will be held in JOY from 3:15 to 5:30pm
Post Practice Shuttle Busses will depart Junior High at 5:45 heading to Aledo and to the west end as usual.

The Illinois High School Football Coaches’ Association has selected Mercer County High School Senior Christopher Hedrick as a member of its All-State team for the 2011 season. Eighteen players in each class have been chosen by the selection committee. Christopher will receive a plaque at the state finals in Champaign on November 25, 2011. Congratulations, Christopher!

Pay to Participate
Once again this year, there will be a participation fee for school sports. Payment of fees will be expected before the sport begins. Students will be required to pay $35 for a single sport, $50 for multiple sports, with a family cap of $150. (This excludes academic activities such as Swing Choir, Jazz Band, Science Olympiad, FFA activities, Summer Engineering Camp, and Scholastic Bowl) Families having difficulty paying these fees need to contact Athletic Director Brian Dennison for assistance.
