Pep Band

The Mercer County High School Pep Band was selected from many schools to perform at the IHSA Class 1A and 2A Girls Basketball State finals on Saturday, February 27th at Illinois State University in Bloomington. Mr. Ruggles and the pep band were very excited and honored to be able to play for this event. Students performed during the 3rd place and the championship games for both 1A and 2A girls basketball. The students rocked the Redbird Arena with their favorite songs and found the crowd singing and chanting along with their show. After their first two sets many students were approached from adult spectators thanking them for a great job. Several parents drove to hear the performance and were thrilled with the crowd’s reaction to the band.

The same article appeared in the magazine's email newsletter that goes out to over 100,000 subscribers and Marlen's blog. Marlen is the managing editor for the magazine. He liked their work so well that he has invited them to help in designing a Greene and Greene table.
