Mercer County Athletic Booster Club is an organization committed to helping Mercer County schools in its athletic programs. The athletic booster club has been a major part of the school’s athletic programs in assisting financially. All competitive teams benefit from booster club dollars. Without the financial support provided by the boosters, the athletic programs would look very different.

Dear Families and Friends of Student Athletes, The Mercer County Athletic Boosters (MCAB) is excited to support the 2023-2024 student athletes and events and hope you are, too. It is our goal to support the over 300 athletes of Mercer County, male and female, high school and junior high. We recognize that we cannot meet every need alone, but work to help as much as
possible by both partnering with the school district and the fundraising of the individual sport in need.
In the 2022-2023 school year the MCAB spent over $37,000 on equipment, awards, tournaments, overnight stays, scholarships, uniforms. Some examples include:
• $7,500 in award plaques, letters and patches
• $6,000 in sports camps
• $4,700 in hotel stays for tournaments and state meets
• $4,000 in upgraded systems such as the football platform Hudl
• $4,000 in junior high track equipment
• $2,000 in scholarships
MCAB hosts 2 major fundraisers a year which are the Bear Country Wrestling Tournament and MerCo Madness. Additional funds are raised through hosting over 70 concession stands, family memberships and of course our partnerships with local community businesses through sponsorships.
We ask that you consider supporting the MCAB through a family membership. The investment is $40 for the entire school year and you will receive a popcorn punch card (worth 10 free bags of popcorn at MCAB concessions) as well as recognition at MCAB concessions and on social media.
Also, feel free to join us at our meetings held the third Thursday of each month at 6:00pm in the Mercer County High School Library.

Welcome to the 2023-24 Sports season!! We are asking that if you have a winter athlete, you (or another adult) sign up for 2 shifts this season, any volunteers in the stand must be 16 years old or older. Reminder, you can sign up for a shift of the opposite sport that your athlete participates in. Thank you for your continued support for our Athletic Program and our athletes!! Go EAGLES!!
