CTE - Career & Technical Education

Career and Technical Education at Mercer County High School is changing, and with it comes the opportunity to prepare students for life in the 21st century. Students are entering a highly competitive workforce and we are working hard to ensure our students are prepared. Our goal is that every Mercer County student will graduate from high school globally competitive for work and postsecondary education with the academics, technical knowledge and life skills to be successful.

One new way to ensure this success is through OSHA training. Students will have the opportunity to complete 4 online training modules and get certified in general OSHA requirements. This training is free and gives students a head start when entering the job market.
